These Terms of Service govern purchases from and use of the website operated by The Cheese Press Ltd (“The Cheese Press”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
Please read these Terms before placing an order. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

2. Using Our Website
You must provide accurate and complete information when placing an order.
You must not misuse our website, attempt to interfere with its operation or use it for any unlawful purpose.
3. Our Products
We take care to describe and photograph our products accurately.
Many of our cheeses and other products are handmade, artisan or naturally produced. Their appearance, size, rind, colour, texture and other characteristics may therefore vary slightly from photographs or descriptions shown online.
Weights stated for hand-cut cheeses may also vary slightly.
These natural variations do not affect your statutory rights where goods are faulty, damaged or not as described.
All products are subject to availability.
4. Orders and Our Contract With You
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase from us.
You will receive an order confirmation after placing your order. We may contact you if we are unable to accept or fulfil an order, for example because an item is unavailable, there has been an obvious pricing error or we cannot deliver to the requested location.
If we cannot fulfil an order for which payment has already been taken, we will provide an appropriate refund.
5. Prices and Payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable.
Any applicable delivery charge will be shown before you complete your purchase.
Payment is taken using the payment methods offered at checkout.
We may change our prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders already accepted by us.
If a price has clearly been displayed incorrectly as a result of an obvious error, we may contact you before fulfilling the order.
6. Delivery
Available delivery options, charges and estimated timescales are shown on our website and at checkout.
Where you select a delivery date, we will take reasonable steps to arrange delivery accordingly. Occasionally circumstances outside our reasonable control may cause delays.
If there is a significant problem with your delivery, please contact us and we will work with you to resolve it.
Where we arrange delivery, responsibility for the goods remains with us until they are delivered into your physical possession, or the possession of someone you have identified to receive them, subject to applicable consumer law.
Please provide a complete and accurate delivery address. We cannot accept responsibility for problems resulting from incorrect or incomplete delivery information supplied by you, although we will always try to help where reasonably possible.

Please wait until you have received confirmation that your order is ready before travelling to collect it.
8. Perishable Goods
Many of our products, including cheese and other fresh food, are perishable.
The usual statutory right to cancel an online purchase simply because you have changed your mind does not apply to goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.
This does not affect your rights where goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described.

9. Cheese Club
Where you purchase a rolling Cheese Club membership, the price and frequency of recurring payments will be displayed before you complete your purchase.
Payments will be taken automatically at the frequency shown when you subscribe until the membership is cancelled or otherwise ends.
You can manage or cancel your membership using the subscription-management options provided to you.
Details concerning billing, cancellation and the operation of your membership are also set out in our Purchase Options Cancellation Policy and information displayed when you subscribe.
Fixed-duration Cheese Club gifts operate for the period purchased and do not automatically continue as a rolling membership unless expressly stated otherwise.
10. Events
Tickets and bookings for events taking place on a specific date are subject to the booking conditions displayed on the relevant event page and our Event Booking Terms.
The usual 14-day cooling-off right does not generally apply to leisure activities booked for a specific date or period.
Nothing in this section affects any statutory rights that apply if an event is cancelled by us or is not provided as agreed.
11. Returns, Problems and Refunds
Our Return and Refund Policy explains how we deal with returns, damaged or incorrect orders and refunds.
Nothing in these Terms or our Return and Refund Policy limits your statutory rights, including rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
12. Allergens and Product Information
We provide allergen and dietary information to help customers make informed choices.
If you or the intended recipient has an allergy or specific dietary requirement, please review the relevant product information carefully and contact us before ordering if you require further information.
Our products may be prepared, cut, wrapped or handled in environments where other allergens are present.
13. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the content of this website, including its text, branding, graphics and other original material, is owned by or licensed to The Cheese Press Ltd.
You may use the website for personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not reproduce or commercially exploit our content without permission, except where permitted by law.
14. Third-Party Services and Links
Our website may contain links to websites or services operated by third parties.
We are not responsible for third-party websites or their content, availability or privacy practices.
The use of third-party payment providers, couriers and other service providers does not affect any responsibility we have to you under applicable consumer law.
15. Our Responsibility to You
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory rights concerning faulty or misdescribed goods.
We are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill.
We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed.
If you are purchasing as a consumer, our products and services are supplied for private use. We are not responsible for business losses arising from a consumer purchase.
Consumer-contract terms cannot lawfully remove responsibility for matters such as faulty or misdescribed goods, and unfair terms may not be enforceable.
16. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control
We will not be responsible for a failure or delay caused by circumstances genuinely outside our reasonable control.
Where such circumstances materially affect an order, we will take reasonable steps to minimise the effect and contact you where appropriate.
Your statutory rights, including any applicable rights concerning delayed delivery or refunds, are not affected.

We use personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
The Terms applying to a purchase will normally be those in force when the relevant order is placed.
19. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer, you retain any mandatory rights concerning where you may bring legal proceedings. Nothing in these Terms is intended to deprive you of protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.
